If you buy from Guitar Center make sure the Studio One Disc is sealed. They sold me open boxed Presonus stuff twice and I didn't get Studio One either time because the previous "owner" had redeemed the code. Also it is not the full Studio One, you must upgrade to use VST plugins.

The Audiobox is decent for the price. I believe about $149 lately. It has minimal ins and outs (2 outs, 2 ins as combo jacks). I found it prone to interference so I don't know how well it's shielded on the inside. It generally ran at a decent 128 sample buffer. For use with an MPC you might want to save up more and look at something with more inputs to handle the 6 or 8 outs from your MPC. I'd recommend looking at some of the offerings in Focusrite's Saffire range. They offer great value for the amount of inputs, sound quality and overall latency.

If money is tight the Audiobox USB should suffice. It's also constructed very well with metal. Personally I prefer their Firestudio Mobile interface as it packs 8 inputs into the same space, but it's $249 and you would need firewire on your pc or Mac.
