2?'s -The Best Budget Soundcard/Terratec Phase 26 knowledge?

I have the Terratec Phase 26 USB Sound Card but am considering scrapping it for another budget but quality soundcard. under $3-400US.
Unless anybody chooses to convince me otherwise that the Terratec Phase 26 USB is a must keep because of 24/96 capability and all the supposed ins/outs and not having to open up computer to use etc...I would consider going to either maybe a Delta or MBox with Pro Tools LE.

I am at a loss, as I want something that is current and can keep up to date for the next few years...supposedly the Terratec would have done that since it is basically an external dmx 6 fire...but I also want to be able to record soon and know that if you get the MBox with pt le, then at least compatibility should be there right up front. Any ideas please join in.

Just so you know, I currently have an MPC2kxl, behringer 6 ch mixer, Alesis Nanobass, Roland XP-30 keys, and a few different software programs, FLStudio, Acid Express, Cakewalk 2002, & Project 5, a P4 3GHZ PC, and the Terratec soundcard. If this is a consideration with the setup let me know...
