yo forum,
i have realized that with a majority of the records i listen to and sample, that the right channel is always around 2-3 squares higher in the mpc's record mode screen. some records run quite even.
i've done a bit of research and cancelled out a few options. i've messed with the cartridge and turntable setup, (anti skate, tracking force, height) but nothing really balances it out. i've also tried switching the left and right phono in's on my vestax mixer, and it seems like the red rca from my turntable is always a little louder.
i know it really depends on the audio source, but do you guys have a "stable" stereo balance coming out from your turntable? is my situation to miniscule to even care about? ortofon states their concorde dj s blue stylus has a stereo imbalance of up to 2db. is there a way to test this? i know there are such things as test records, could this help me out? need to see if i have an actual problem with my turntable, a malfunction.
thanks fam!
