is there a machine other than the MPC's auto chop feature, that is really good at chopping samples. the sp series have the "mark" feature, which i've used and cannot get the hang of for the life of me.
on my soundforge 10 software, i can set up chop points on a sample of any size in about 10-15 seconds, by just highlighting the sample, halving it, and then "mark" my points, but thats the easy part. i still have to export each individual chop to .wav, copy to cf card, then load them up. so that obviously isnt the fastest way...
is the mpc auto chop the only sufficient way to get chops fast?
thanks
