keyboard stands with second tier for MPC 1000

I'm wondering if anyone is using something like this with there MPC on the top tier. I want to put a 1000 on there but I'm not sure if it will adjust to fit.

this looks like the best bet, it says the 2nd tier is fully adjustable, but I'd like to be sure before I buy.

The MPC 1000 is 13 inches wide. Can anybody recommend a model that they may be using successfully in this way. Thanks

Shape yourself a board to lay across the top, and put your 1k on the board, you may also be able to fit some other small gear on that board as well.
The stand will be fine if you work it like that.

I've actually seen that done before and it wasn't bad at all.
I remember one specifically, it was cherry wood all nice and shiny.
