Zip disk un-write protect

Zip disk un-write protect

Hey i have iomega zip for my asr-10 but all new disks are write protected. My problem is that i have mac and notebook with windows, can i unprotect it with usb zip?

the short answer is yes, I formatted zips old software came on just fine which were write protected. The long answer is it seemed to make the disks chances of working about 50/50 on the MPC, dunno about the asr.
