Hello all,

i'd like to put on the same furniture those equipments :
- Onyx 1220
- MPC 3000
- MPC 60 mkI
- Sp12

Do you know a good solution to do this ?

Is there a good DIY solution ?

Thanks

I'm kind of in the same boat. Maybe a solid custom desk can be put together to meet your exact needs? Do you have a master keyboard to house too?

You wouldn't want those classic samplers crashing to the floor tho...

I'm about to build my own too. Best thing to do is mock up how comfortable you would want to access your gear. Like figure out if you want the 60 and 3000 to be the centerpiece or rather have one on the left and the other on the right with the Onyx in the middle. Stuff like that. Then take measurements of your gear and remember to give an extra 3 or 4 inches for the back panel for cables and plugs, you don't want cables bending against the wall. Also measure how your body will sit in with this desk. Sit on your favorite chair and measure how much knee room you need, how far you'll stretch your arms and all that stuff. Then its time for the wood. Most plywood is 3/4" thick, so you'll have to take that into consideration with your measurements, maybe what you wanted was a 42" in a 42 1/2" space but those extra 3/4" for the side panels added up, you know. Best of all, be creative too. A well custom made desk will make you inspired more than a generic one from a studio shop. Hit google and look up desk, new and antique, even coffee tables, old stereo cabinets and get crackin'.

Hi, thanks for the answers.

I already chose the desk. But i only want on it
- MPC Renaissance
- Keyboard\Mouse
- Screen
- Speakers
- Soundcard

And right next to it, i want a furniture like this

Image

The best will be from top to bottom :
- Onyx 1220
- 3000
- 60
- SP12 (i'm not really playing pads on this one, just kicking the a$$ :-)

And if i can have inclined plane to put the different BARs, i will say Bravo !

Must go to a french store who listen to you and give you advice on how to do this. Before, i have to determine the perfect measurement.

Sorry I assumed you wanted those pieces on a desk, but if a shelf unit works for you...
