What kind of music do you do where the MPC's sequencer doesn't cut it? Some sort of classical or something? I don't get it.

I believe the MPC will transmit note hits just like any other keyboard by default. Haven't tested, have you?

Also!!! Finally someone who's on the E-MU tip!

I've been thinking about picking up an E5000 Ultra for a while now, once I get the funds, and I know it's in the same fam as your pricey favorite piece. I have major questions about that.

I'm most interested in the E4 series as a loop processor/sequencer. How well does the "beat munging" work? How good are the internal synth sounds of the E4s? Everywhere I turn I get "heard of em but never used em" from folks online, and I know next to no one who fools with production gear personally.

IM me on AIM under the name thynctank, or post on here, whatever you feel like, but please broadcast the power of the E-MU, I need to know.
