Which one off these three interfaces would you recommend?

What's up fam?

I'm in the market for a new audio interface. I did my background search and found three candidates. They all fit my budget and all have the specs I want and need:

- 8ins through firewire
- midi input
- can be used as standalone

So here are the three candidates:

Presonus Firestudio Project.

If any of you have or have used one in the past let me know what you're experiences are. Is there any noticeable difference in sound? Ease of use? Stability? Build quality etc. Or even if you would recommend me another type of interface, let me know.

Btw, it's for a Macbook pro (2012 model) with Logic 9.1.8

This is only my experience:

Havent used Presonus interfaces so have no opinion of them. Did once have an ACP88 ten years ago which I paid about £1200 for. It was total over priced garbage.

Had a Focusrite ADAT interface. Apart from numerous problems the thing just gave up working one day. It was just over a year old. I expected so much better from the company which made the Little Red hardware EQ. But I have seen a number of people on the web say their budget end stuff can be quite bad. I agree - I also owned a Platinum Voice Channel ( I think that was its name). Seriously, that was the worst sounding piece of shit I have ever owned.

Had a Motu 828mk11. Not a single days issue with it over the five years I owned it. Apart from a little convoluted routing systems it really was a sterling piece of kit. I sold it to a local dude some four years ago and its still going strong.

If that Motu piece is of the same build quality and reliability of the 828 - it may well be worth investigating. Come to think of it I have rarely - if ever heard anything bad said about Motu interfaces on the web.

I recommend the Motu - but obviously that's just from my experience.

I use a motu ultralite mk3 hybrid and have no complaints.Works %100 and sweet sounds.
