ProTools and Logic

I have a question for you guys who have experience with BOTH of these software programs.

How would you say they compare? If you prefer one over the other, can you tell me why?

Is it true that Logic has much steeper learning curve?

I would say the learning curve in Pro-tools is a bit steeper I started
on pro-tools about 5 months ago.

I just started using Logic you have midi and audio all I know is
if you want to take out some hiss out of a samp or sound
you can via the audio mixer with the use of the plugins and
it comes out crystal clear.

With pro-tools I have to go to the digidesign site and view the
disk flix to find out how to operate certain functions ie;
automation,midi.

Both of these programs are great and the pro's are using it
thats why I have them both I have these 2 programs incase
one fails I have the other and to learn more than just 1 so
I have some working knowledge of different programs.

But again if you know what you're doing and how to tweak your
plugs to get your desired sound you got it made.
