Wassup folk, check it i am running ptle w/ a radium 49 midi controller and every time i go to use sampletank, when i arm the midi track there seems to be something all ready on it. the track is clean but the meter is going bananas. has anybody encountered this or know what the deal is? thanks

I had the same thing with a Oxygen 8 controller. It turned out to be the pitchbend wheel that was sending data, even though it was in the "0" position. I had to insert a midifilter to get rid of it in cubase.
It's didn't seem to do much harm, but it annoyed me to see the meter trippin like that.

Try recording on the miditrack (don't play any notes though) and open the midi editor in PT to see if it records any data. If it does, you can find out what knob or note is giving the trouble and filter that out.

PT is not really a good VST host, if ur like me and like to bunker down on VSTS. U may want to look inot anther app like Cubase or Logic.

You may also want to make sure u have all the updates needed for your Oxy 8. That happened to me b4, and updating helped
