Tascam iXZ, Garageband, and the MPC 2500

I am trying to record a sequence that i created on the MPC 2500 into the Garageband app that i have on my IPad. I purchased a Tascam iXZ in order to make this happen, but I soon found that the sound quality was awful. The process cut the balls out of the recording...and by balls i mean, the low end.

Does anyone else have experience using the Tascam iXZ interface with the MPC 2500?

Maybe I am doing something wrong (other than trying to record using Garageband.)

Personally, I wouldnt be trying to record anything with that thing. No stereo input? 1/8 inch mini jack output? No thanks! Not surprised to hear your sound quality is pants.

Dont know about the Garageband App, but dont you have a laptop or desktop computer you can use for recording?
