Anybody record live audio directly into the MPC?

Im runnin JJOS1 on the 1K and i know its possible but ive never bothered to try it.

I want to be able to record live instrumentation, claps/snaps, and even some low level vocals directly into sequences on the MPC

i hate using the computer to add elements to my beats cuz it really slows down the creative process for me so i wanna be able to record all this shit in real time

Im interested in hearing how others have accomplished this

During sampling, I just hit play on the MPC to play a sequence and then record vocals or some electric guitar. The acapella is sent to a pad and thats **** that.
