How's it going guys? I just bought the M-audio M-track audio interface and I'm having problems getting my mpc sounds to play through Fruity Loops.

http://m-audio.com/products/en_us/MTrack.html

First off, does this interface have the capability of connecting my mpc to fl studio?
If so, how would I go about hooking it up? Right now I have a midi cable going OUT from mpc to IN on the M-track. That's about all I have so far and nothing seems to work. I'm fairly new to this and usually come to the forum whenever I'm having trouble so any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Peace

midi cables don't transmit sound... they only transmit data like when you push pads... or when you push play on the mpc... stuff like that.

you need to connect your audio cables from the mpc going into the computer to hear sound from the mpc in the computer.

The m-track only has Main Out inputs. Do I hook up 1 1/4" cables from the mpc to those inputs of the interface? In the manual it says those out ports are for studio monitors. How would I get the sound into my computer?

U need to check EVERY port on your audio interface.

Know your interface specs, don't guess.

http://m-audio.com/products/en_us/MTrack.html

2 balanced 1/4" line inputs with guitar-level switching (this is mpc to audio interface)

Signal to Noise Ratio: 96 dB
THD+N: 0.034%
Freq. Response: ±1.2 dB

2 TRS 1/4" inserts; one per input channel (this is mpc to audio interface)

Convenient single USB cable data and power connection (this is audio/data to computer)

You plug the output of the audio interface to the input of your monitors.

You plug the output of the MPC to the input of the audio interface.
