Question About Logic Pro & MPC...

I've searched for answers to this question & continue to come up short. Ok, I have a template from akaipro.com where I can use my MPC as a sequencer & Logic as a sound module & it works perfect but I notice it only allows up to 16 Midi Channels whereas the MPC has A through D. I have a 2x2 Midi interface & I was wondering is it possible to use 32 tracks (different Ports) as opposed to just 16?

The thing about Logic is it doesn't let you choose which Midi Port you want to use & I'm sure you can create just another multi-instrument in Logic's environment but for some reason that doesn't appear to be working...

There is a Physical Input object in the Environment.

By default, this takes all MIDI inputs to Logic, based on what is active in Audio MIDI Setup, and combines them to it's SUM output, which is then sent to the Sequencer input.

You need to remove the SUM output to Sequencer input link.

Then link the individual MIDI port inputs, from the Phyical Input object, to the multi-instruments that you want to send MIDI data to from each MIDI input.

Ok I removed the Sum and drew a cable from 1 Midi Port each to a multi-instrument...

Once that's done do I just connect the cables from the Multi's to the Splitters?
