Effects

I'm looking for a good effect unit to complement my MPC1000 (jjos3).
I thought about a Kaoss Pad 3 or a PitchFactor. I've heard that MIDI isn't always working with both of the aforementioned devices. Can someone confirm that?
If so, could you recommend me something different to modulate samples?

Kp3 sounds great, is fun and works fine with MIDI. Btw, this part of the forum is for JJOS. If you want more comments on your post do, for your own sake, post them under the right topic.
