Thx im knew to this and a friend of mine said this is the place to get for your mpc needs and help. I just got a MPC Studio and ordered some powered monitors. So i use my laptop now but on the desk im gonna use my desktop. so i need to be able to run my powered monitors. having trouble finding out if i need a audio interface or mixer. The problem the Studio has on the pc is i cant sample off a website or like hulu. its only option is to use the mic on my laptop which sounds like ass. akai support told me there wasnt anything for pc like the mac program. what would be my work around cause this is pretty huge to me. so basicly i need to know what i should get to output to my monitors, sample off the cpu work around, and be able to hook a real mic up,or guitar. Doubt ever at the same time.so what would be my best option to do all this(Value helps).hope just one thing can do this for me. also,do i need to get a good soundcard for my desktop? The video card on it is really good and has full hd dont know anything about the sound card tho.

Thanks in advance for any help for this newby.

A cool point to go along with Tekno's Focusrite suggestion is that in the Saffire MixControl program (for their Saffire interface range) has a feature they call "Loopback" which allows you to record what ever audio from your computer directly to your DAW. This would allow you to sample Hulu, etc.

PS - The Saffire range is a workhorse but it is FireWire only so keep that in mind.
