I'd connect one MIDI out on the MPC3000 to MIDI in on the SE1x and another MIDI out on the MPC3000 to the MOTU.

If you need to send data from the computer to the MPC, connect a MIDI out on the MOTU to a MIDI in on the MPC.

Appreciate the help. I've got the 3000 slaved to protools and that works fine but I can't get this to work. I know the SE-1(not x) works because I heard it before I got it. I tried what you told me and it didn't work. I must be doing something wrong here. Any ideas? Thanks again...

Moved.

As this is not specifically related to the MPC3000, but more generalised and concerned with the SE-1, you might get more help in a busier more relevant forum.

Good luck!

Moved to where? I think it is relevant because I believe I may be doing something wrong also in the MPC 3000. Just wanted to get some help with lining the two together. Main reason why is because the midi options are more complicated on the 3000 and I thought someone here would have the experience using the two together...
