Question on transferring wave dump using the Yamaha motif 6

I have an MPC 2000XL, a yamaha motif 6 and a cpu. I was wondering if there was any way I could get wave files from my cpu to the MPC 2XL. I have a USB on my computer and motif 6 and i heard that you could use that to do it. If so, could somebody help me through this process, as well as how to get the sounds from the motif to the MPC. I have a MIDI to MIDI cable and 1/4" to 1/4" Audio Cables as well.

your dumping / recording the note events (the keys you play, settings you tweak)
