MPC200xl, Motif, and Fantom

Can anyone please help me with a problem I am seeing. I am using my MPC to arrange all of my music. When I use the MPC to make a loop using sounds off of my Motif on midi channel a and the Fantom on midi channel b everything is ok until I save all programs & sounds and all sequences and turn off the equipment and turn it back on. When I turn the equipment back on and pull up my sequences the sounds that I was using from the Motif and the Fantom are not the same and I have to go back through the painful process of finding what sounds I was using on each synth. Is there an easier and better way to do this? Thanks for any suggestions.....

ok i got a motif and this is what i do maybe im doing something wrong but check this out cause it works for me......on the mpc if i use seq 1-5 ill name them the same name like JUMPOFF. then ill also name the program the same thing too. now on the motif you only need to use 1 spot out of the 64 spaces on the motif so youll name that the same name as your 1-5 seq on the mpc. o yea on the motif dont forget the hit the store button before you doing a nother job on the motif too. Now you gona have to save on the motif also....save it as a all file for ex. All songs or All Patt. now lets go back to the mpc before you turn that off you must save all seq and songs but you must also give it a name call it Katdadee vol 1 because youll most likely use up the 99 spaces in the mpc seq before you use up the 64 spaces on the motif being that youll only use one space per song on the motif where you should use more that one space on the mpc being that youll be changing things up with mutes hooks and vers. On the motif your gona have to save your all 1-64 songs as a name just use kadadee , you dont need to put a vol# thats just something ill use to to keep track of at what point a beat should be at. one more thing i also do is creat a folder on the mpc and name that just katdadee and ill save evrery thing in that from pro grams ill use to song and seq( your vol.1-?) this way it dont get messy i have a 100mb zip and if you dont start using folders youll find your self turn that dial all day passing and skipping things.......i hope this helps a lil. the bottom line is just name everything the same name. thats what my friend showed me.
