Connect numark x6 to MPC 2500??

whats up everybody...got a nice deal for a numark x6 dj mixer a while ago; was also fortunate to find a deal on some yahama hs50ms ...just having trouble connecting it all together.with my MPC2500 i've been trying to figure it out for the last couple hours with no luck. i looked thru the manual but it didnt help...it seems like i've tried everything...am i missing something?? i'd greatly appreciate some assistance.

You connect a pair of L/R outputs from the mixer to the MPC2500 Left/Right Record In inputs.

You can connect the monitors to the MPC2500 Left/Right outputs, or to the mixer outputs.

If you connect the monitors to the mixer outputs, you might want to use the master outputs from the mixer into the monitors, so that you have level control of the signal going into the monitors from the mixer.

You can connect either the master outputs or the record outputs to the MPC2500 Record In inputs, the master output level is controlled by the master gain control on the mixer, while the record output level is set at the level before the master gain control.

If connecting the mixer outputs to both the monitors and the MPC, probably best to connect the Record output from the mixer to the MPC, and the Master output from the mixer to the monitors. That way you have gain control of the level going into the monitors, while the level going into the MPC stays at full level.

If you connect the monitors to the mixer outputs, you would have to remember to turn down the MPC2500 input to the mixer, when you go into record mode or input monitor mode on the MPC, to avoid a feedback loop.

ok. but where do i connect it to the mixer? then how do i test it once it is connected?

thanks...still working on it..managed to figure out hooking up the record player + mixer + studio monitors...still trying to figure out how to include the mpc2500. ill be working on it.
