I have recently purchased a Mac G4 and Digi 001. I already have the 2000 and the Triton and I am now ready to step into the world of MIDI and Pro Tools. How do I connect them both to the 001 and use them both in Pro tools together?

Digi001 Midi out -> MPC midi A in
Digi001 Midi in -> MPC midi A out
MPC midi B out -> Triton midi in
MPC midi B in -> Triton midi out

Then connect the analog outs from the mpc and triton to the digi001 analog ins.

Then search the forums for a step-by-step MPC/Protools synchronization guide.

Thank you for your help, I'm going to try it and see what happens.

I don't run protools myself, but there's been a lot of discussion (including long tutorials) on synching pt with mpc's on this board.

I searched a lot of them, and they had some good tips. The one thing I couldn't find out is specifically between the MPC and Triton is the settings. Because now when I Midi out of the MPC2000 to the Triton the Triton is playing the drum sounds out of the MPC when I still want to hear the keyboard. None of the topics I saw addressed that.

did you turn off local control on the triton?

yes I did. I figured it out. At least that part of it anyway. I think it's the way I have everything else hooked up. I gonna try some other things.
