cant connect mpc 500 ti fl studio

hey guys i just bought a midi to usb and i tried hooking it up to my computer. the midi in/out cables are both plugged into the mpc and the usb is plugged into the computer. i opened fl studio up and went into midi settings and enabled the master sync for my midi to usb. i also set my mpc to be the slave. and for some reason i cant control anything on fl studio using my mpc and same with the other way around. please help me out its been pissing me oss all day. thanks for your help in advance. peace

mpc should be the master... if there is an option on the mpc to turn MMC to on then do that too. FL studio's transport are only able to be controlled that way.

What this will do for you is turn your mpc intro a controller like an MPD.... so I don't think it's worth it.
