Yo,
So i got my first MP, a 500, probably a year ago. It was a great starting point for me and ive grown as a producer since i copped it. Im really glad i started on hardware and my ears are so much more sensitive to things like timing. This being said, i think i have reached a plateau with this machine as a standalone device. I need a more powerful sampler and a QUALITY analog synth. I also want to make the switch from sampling from mp3s to vinyl. My goal is to have a completely analog setup sometime in the future. Right now i want to build a base for that. My question is, would it be possible to hook up the 1000 to the moog minataur in such a way that i can play the moog with a midi keyboard, and have the moog recorded/sequenced into the mp (through the midi keys). Sorry if this is confusing. How do i integrate all these while making room for recording/sequencing my electric bass into my MP as well? Im not a big fan of daws and computer screens but if an analog interface/mixer is too expensive, i would definitely go for the daw route. I know that each setup is different and calls for very different equipment, but could you give me some suggestions to meet my goal?
Thanks brodys looking forward to yalls advice.
