A/D Convertor

Was wondering what you guys use for A/D conversion. I personally use a Focusrite Pro 24 + an Octopre. The Octopre however is a rental and I enjoy it but I wanted to see what you cats were using out in MPC world since I'm mainly using my 1000.

I used to record everything with my apogee duet into logic. Got fed up having an imac JUST for that and lug it around everytime i want to record something (it's in another room). So for the moment, i borrowed an old Yamaha AD converter (would have to check what model, but it sounds good) from a friend. I go analogue from the mixing desk into the Yamaha AD, from there i go digital into the MPC2500 and record like that (then bounce the wav file from MPC to computer).
