When ever phantom power is activated on the soundcard (focusrite scarlett 2i2) there is a hum in the monitors (yamaha hs7). The mic is a rode nt1a. It doesnt affect the recorded signal at all, but its annoying. The other mic we use is an audio technica at4040, it does like a descending hum and eventually stops. The hum never stops with the rode mic. Does anyone know what this could be?
