New DJ Mixer - Vestac PMC-37

Sup yall, Im just about to buy me a new mixer so I just wanted to see if anyones got anything to stop me....
atm im using a vestax pmc-06 which is good but is a little worn and not very flexible. Im looking at the new Vestax pmc-37 for a few reasons:
The X-Fader, 3 channels ->all assignable to the crossfader, fx send, good eq & filter.
Does anything compare for the price range?!?
The only bad thing I can find is there is no curve on the up faders....
anyone got anything else I should consider?!

The Rane 56 could be another option. It has some of the things that you mentioned the 37 does (fx send, good eq), and obviously is missing things that the 37 has. But then again, the 56 is more of a skratch mixer. It does have adjustable curve on the upfaders, the crossfader is better than the 37... only cause it's more of a battle mixer, though. Most people buying something like the PMC-37 aren't gonna bust out real technical cuts. They're probably dropping the $$$ on the 37 for it's capabilities. So maybe the 37 would be a better choice for you (?), the rane is a great mixer though, and you could find a good deal on one.

From your post it sounds like the pmc37 is a repackaged club mixer, would that be right???? my buddy has a pmc-07 and I love the fader and everything about that mixer, it shts all over my 06. would the 37 be comparable to that?!

Im trippin now, cos I thought the 37 would b an expanded 07, but now it sounds like a modded vestax club mixer in that they've just added better crossfader with curve, repackaged it and made it look like a brand spankin new PMC/battle mixer....

Im lost, maybe ill buy two 2 07's and hook em up side by side with the session input, come to think of it that will cost me about the same!!!
wont have the fx sends or filters tho.

I need: more inputs, better crossfader, better eq.

That's kind of how I look at it. I took this from Turntablelab.com...

"plus much room to grow, with the auxiliary capabilities." - That's what I'm thinking you may need for your other gear.

So yeah, that's what they think, too. It depends what you want to do with it. With all your equipment, the 37 might be the way to go. But maybe you could go with another mixer (eg. rane) and get another small mixer, like a behringer or something and hook your setup that way. I'm not familiar with your other gear though, so I don't know if that would work for you... Something to think about. And it'd probably end up costing less.
I used to have an 07Pro. Had it for two years and sold it a few months ago to get a Rane 56. Apart from the faders, the one thing that blew me away was the difference in sound quality and the EQs. The EQs on the 37 are obviously better than on the 07. All the Vestax Pro series mixer (including the samurais) are built on the same sound (pretty poor). So you might wanna look into if the 37 is the same again.
On the faders though. The PCVs are nice. I put a P&G crossfader in my 07 after a while though. Mainly cause people were saying how good they were, light feel, quality, better cut in time, easy to clean. And the faders in the rane mixers are better still. Depends how much you're gonna be scratching as to how important that is.

I've only ever played live, using whole tracks, I wanna be able to mix an hour set of my beats, and im sort of starting to do this now with the 06 but im forever plugging and unplugging shit cos I wanna cut....
