Crackle sound from bassline

Hey, I was wondering if anyone else is experiencing this...

Whenever I play a hard hitting bassline, my right monitor (Yamaha HS5) gives off a slight crackle noise. My left monitor is fine, and when I play commercial grade music, it's fine...

Any ideas what's the problem?

did you try to sample it in mono and than observe the same effect?
is it at the beginning or the end.
if i have such noises i play with the attack of the sample

Blown speaker?
