I was chillin cleaning my room and listening to some records and all of a sudden some funny sounding shit started happening. It went through my speakers and headphones, but after went away. I have Samson RESOLV 65a studio reference monitors and when powered on one works and the other the music goes in and out like some weird circuit or something. Anyone know if it is my wires or did I blow a speaker or whatever?

Try eq-ing a sound to just the low freq. and play it back. Do the same for High freqency. Listen and pan both sounds from right to left and back. If you tweeter is blown, you'll clearly hear it with the high freq. but the low freq. should play back ok. (and the other way around of course.

If it sounds like sh*t with both sounds, it could be that a connection inside your monitor popped loose or something. Like smoove sais, shake the monitor, you''l hear it.

I can play real real low and have it not come in and out, it's like bad signals. When it gets loud it just goes in and out. It's weird.......anyone know good places to have stuff checked. I'm waiting to hear from the place I bought it at
