what up my slappers
I own a fostex mr-8 digi multitracker..but i hate the thin digital sound and tje quick clippin/disortion i gt with it! so I bought a new tape deck and my boss passed me some fresh studio master tapes (from the studio) record my beats first onto to (like +4DB tape compression baby)
and then from tape back to digital
DAMN IT SOUNDS FAT! not really a lost of quality due to HQ tapes and recorder, and sample based shit is always grimey (not as bright as synth stuff)
I love this thing! just to inspire you guys on things..analog sounds just fat
