Anybody experience any midi problems with their MPC?? For example I got my MPC hooked to my synth, and up until yesterday I could sequence with the MPC. All the patterns I played on the synth would play from the MPC. Yesterday, I sit to practice and recorded a 4bar loop and nothing. No playback from the MPC. The MPC plays the keys on its pads, but when I record a pattern I get SHIII! Changed midi cables and it worked only for a second then I got SHIII again. I loaded up a beat that I was working on previously and what do you know, the MPC plays all the sounds in the sequence from the synth like it should. I checked to see if the MPC would just make the synth play from the midi port and that works fine. It just seems that when I go to make synth loop through the MPC I get nothing. I've had this setup this way for sometime now and had no issues until yesterday. Has anyone else experienced this type of problem? If so, what must I do to fix this ASAP? :?

man all i can say is

MPC Midi In -> Synth Midi Out
Synth Midi Out -> MPC Midi in

use two cords. if your already doing that then im not too sure what the problem is. how many peices do you have connected together with midi? because when you got a midi chain goin on with multiple peices, one or more pight not be connected right. but im not sure man

good luck

I may need to try the two cables. I have MPC in from DIGI 002r, MPC out to synth in. No sound modules or anything.

yea you need to finish the chain. i bellieve you'll have to connect that synth to your digi or something. there's a way you gotta correctly chain all your equipment. i had issues with midi before and my engineer from his studio came and worked his magic and it was working fine after that. turns out that my connects were all in the wrong places. so im not sure what needs to be connected to what. but get one more cord and maybe that will help.

i could be way off, but try this first i guess. if this dosnt work im not sure.

hope this helps.
