Akai MFC42 Filter Circuit Question

Does anyone know what type of filter technology is used inside the Akai MFC42? I'm looking for a Curtis chip-based filter, and I know Akai has used Curtis/CEM filters in the past.

What kind of filter chips are inside the MFC42?

It does not use Curtis chips - the filter design is either discrete or op-amp based - I have worked on one a long time ago but I can't remember what the filter topology was. There are SSM chips in the design, but these are VCA's. Unfortunately the service manual does not have schematics, so it's impossible to tell without opening it up (and that's not easy - it's the most tightly packed bit of gear I've ever seen)
