:?:
Here is my planned list:

Mpc 1000

Mackie Onyx 16 input joint

The firewire card to go wit it

Ion or Micron(Leaning towards ion for keys tweakability and outputs)

Motif Es( thats is the dream machine, cause if dat sampler has good timestretch and chop or something of that nature i wont use da cpu. Just eq the ish and record into da motif)

This is for hiphop, is this pretty good? Suggestions are greatly accepted!

For the sounds the equipment list is right on. Only problem is that you might be forgetting about a lot of the less glamorous but equally important equipment:

microphone
monitors
computer
headphones
software?
cables
turntable if you want to go there

Keep some of this stuff in mind when creating your budget! $$$

Man, I could never post my dream list, it would go on forever. It would definately end up with one of those J series SSL consoles, haha.

Actually qrs, that ish looks all good. The motif got timestretch and different chopping features. Got alot of capability, and realistic natural sounds. Screen is whack tho, and I know know if you really wanna be chopping on that, or if the timestretch algorith, would be better than a daw based one. But, that keyboard is the ish. Damn, I want one of those mackies w/ the firwire card, cus it got the beefy eq on it. Better than their 'grey' line of mixers. Has anyone heard how the converters sound, tho?
Do you know how to use this ish, tho? Some cats buy awhole setup at once, and then start asking questions like "how do I sample with the MPC?', or, 'what is midi?' If you can't put those all together and fire them up, then don't even go bezerk, cus it's not a necessity to spend shitload of dough to make dope music.

All outputs of mpcand motif and ion(micron) into mixer.

Then midi out of motif to midi in of mpc and then u would have to set ya channel and all that ish.

Then i like that new stanton turntable, not the Str8-150, but the str8-100 cause it got dem line outputs and i think key correction.

I wan't tryn insult you, nahmean? Just see alot of dudes wasting money.
You know that kanye joint where they go 'take that equipment back to the store...' w/ ol' dirty...very true.
What is 'key correction' on the turntable?; sounds hot.

key correction on the stantons is that u can change the tempo with the slider but keep the pitch in tact. it makes a real unnatural sound though, like it sounds really flanged.

That's on a vinyl turntable? Sounds like it could be cool when used very subtle, like most pitch correction joints.
