see im a lil confuse bare wiht yall i just came home from lock up,whats the difference between a digital mixer like the yamaha01v96 digital mixer and the tascam 2488 24 track digi multitrack?

A digital mixer does not have a multitrack recording device built in. The tascam is a limited digital mixer connected to a hard disk recorder.
