MPC 1000 and SP-303 wiring

Hi,

I was wondering what would be the best way to set up a SP-303 to a MPC 1000 as an effect / resampling device. Tried to use two Y RCA cables on those S/PDIF (in&out) but no signal seem to come through (Input is set to digital). Never used S/PDIF before so specifications might have nothing to do with the regular LR RCA of the SP-303, but as I can't seem to find any existing topic on the subject I figured I'll just ask.

MPC1k STEREO OUT or ASSIGNABLE MIX OUT analog outputs -> 303 analog inputs.

Use 2 of these cables, one for left and one for right.

Seems like the logical way to go yeah, dunno why I bothered with S/PDIF.

It's an easy mistake... they spdif and rca jacks are the same shape and size, even if they work differently.
