Scsi device & monitor

So I'm seriously considering getting a SCSI Zip drive or hard disk to replace my trusty but oh so frustrating floppy drive, and my problem is that my computer monitor is RIGHT next to my MPC2kxl, mixer and turntable.  And due to lack of space I can't really put the MPC elsewhere. From what I understand, this (scsi device next to monitor) could cause problems.  Any suggestions?

so buy an external zip and long cables for it and place it far from your monitor ?[/color]

As long as the cable does not run too close to any magnetic source, there will be no problem.[/color]
