Wasup fellas. I got an 2000xl and im now lookin' into a turntable to get to sample from. Im feeling the digital input thing so that I can put samples in my Powermac G4. The task at hand is now whether to pay the extra $$ for the ttx1 or go for the 8-80. Any suggestions, which one produces the better sound quality? Does any1 have either one of these that can offer any advice? I just want to sample really and maybe a little scratching.

Does any1 know any good sites that allow you to compare turntables features also?

Can someone also tell me the name of the device [soundcard] needed to sync these digi outs to a powermac g4? Im leaning towards the 8-80 as its cheaper and offers the functions needed, but does the ttx1 possess features that makes it worth the price?? Can any1 help? Thanx for any help fellas.

get the TTX-1 or the Gemini PTD6000. THe gemini can slow or speed oup the track without pitching it up and down. So insted of timestretch you could use that feature.
