Mpc live midi sync logic pro x in standalone

Evening guys just a quick question, I used to use the Mpc2500 back in the day with logic pro 8 as the slave recording into my mpc from logic via midi functions, I've been scouring the Internet for any info but cant seem to find what I'm looking, is there any way of achieving this with the mpc live and logic pro x, thanks in advance

You can provide sync from the MPC to a DAW. I'm not sure how to specifically do this for Logic Pro X, but I cannot believe that this is not doable.

I use the Akai Network MIDI driver, works great to sync or play instruments either way. Otherwise you need a MIDI interface just like any other MIDI instrument.

Though the tutorial is for syncing logic as a master and the mpc is a slave, i think you are capable of figuring out how to do it viceversa.
