Set velocity limits on MPK 218?

Hi. I just bought an MPK 218 and I'm using it with Pro Tools (for now) to record drums. While the velocity sensitive pads are great they're very sensitive yet you need to hit them really hard to get the max drum-hit. DOe anyone know of a way to limit the range of velocity? So let's say 1 is a really light hit and 100 is a full-on hit. I want to limit the hits from 70 - 90.

Any ideas?
