Hi all,

So i have my first setup which consists of a technics turntable, mixer and a MPC 2000xl.

I'm currently trying to set it up so i can play the turntable as well as the mpc through the mixer and also record samples to mpc.
I'm using this vid i saw on YouTube as a reference

my problem is that my cheap second hand stanton mixer only has 1 pair of rca outputs.
is it possible for me to buy a splitter cable so i can run that 1 output to be used for my monitors as well as back into the mpc REC IN for sampling? or am i better just to get another second hand mixer with master out and rec out outputs

Hope this all makes sense. Thanks in advance

What model of mixer is it? It doesn't have some kind of monitor out in addition to the RCAs?

aim to get a better mixer.
the quality of your samples is going to be determined by the quality of your mixer.
the allen and heath x-zone two channel mixer is really good value and will make your samples sound much better. it come with a really good low/high resonate filter that is very useful.
