Hey there!

I've recently got the MPC Live 2 so i can use it as "The Brain" of my live setup.

When I connect it to my Pulsar 23 drum machine via MIDI cable, the Pulsar's sequencer won't sync with the MPC clock. When i try to record a sequence something always throw my sequence off the grid.
It does't happen when I i connect the Pulsar the my computer.

The other clock dividers on my Pulsar work perfectly fine and when I patch them to the Snare Drum for exmp
the SD will play on grid.

It only happens to me when i try to record and play a sequence.

I know it's a very specific problem.
Shooting in the dark...

Thank You!

What do you have your MPC set to in system preferences under MIDI / Sync?

Outpot ports

MPC A - sync + track are checked
MPC B - sync + track are checked
Remote - sync + track are checked

Enable MIDI ports when discovered -checked

MIDI Control Mode Outputs - MPC A

Sync Receive

Receive - MIDI Clock
Abletone start stop sync - uncheckd
Receive MMC - checked

Sync Send

Send - MIDI clock
Send MMC - checked
MTC frame rate 25
start time 0.0.0.0

Thank you for replying!

Thanks again for replying:)
I tried that. It didn't work.
Is this a common problem? Maybe the MPC live doesn't correlate with other drums machines with a sequencer?
