oxi one

HI!

I want to get an Oxi one sequencer to use with MPC One, as I'd like a sequencer with a layout I can see and control from buttons, to sequence synths, beats etc, working in my DAWless studio.
Any information would be helpful on folks experiences with this setup, specifically for using the same sequence (with slight variations) to drive my beats (as drum kit loaded into MPC) and then various external hardware synths (recorded into MPC as midi and then finally sampled).

I'm thinking of this, too. The reviews from Oxi One are pretty strong. I can abide the MPC workflow, but I'm not satisfied with the Step Sequencer, esp. for chords. And I'm not crazy about editing MIDI notes on the Grid via the touchscreen.

An external sequencer might be overkill or too much trouble. But still I'd like to here from anyone who has tried the Oxi One with their MPC.
