ReCycle is a program that uses the same production techniques as a MPC sampler(time stretching, waveform editing, tempo syncronization, ect.)with a little more sophistication. You can use it to create your own custom kits or with Reason 2.0(I'd use it for both)to complement it.

Reason is a software synth package that you can use to create your own personal sounds(it has more functions but I can't remember what else it does). Think of it as a software studio full of virtual synths, orchestral sound library & a sampler.
