Connection Question???

I use the MPC2000xl as my sequencer and the ASR 10 as my sampler. Here's the question: I want to put my keyboard in the mix, what midi connections do I have to make? I just want to use the keyboard for basslines.

Anyone?

MIDI thru to keyboard, from ASR 10.
or out 2 of MPC to keyboard.
