Who uses Reason with the MPC2000XL?

I just started using Reason with the MPC and I'm looking for suggestions. So far all I've done is import MPC MIDI files into Reason and set up the NNXT sampler to trigger the samples. I know there are many other methods I could come up with, but I'm curious as to how my fellow MPC Tutor folk are using these two brilliant tools together.

i use my mpc to trigger redrums or dr rexes for making beats. then i go back in and to alot of editing in the sequencer. in fact my mpc has pretty much turned into a midi drum controller now as it is so much easier to load sounds in the computer (where i already have tons and tons) than into the mpc even with mpc editor software.

That's right. I totally forgot that ReDrum can be triggered from an external MIDI controller. Do you think I could replace the NNXT for the ReDrum in the set up I mentioned in the previous message?

its what i do. i would take the time to make a new mpc pgm called reason.pgm where you set each pads note number to corrisponde with the redrum if you know what i mean. i did and it makes it way easy.

you can also sync the mpc's midi clock output so reason can slave to your mpc. The key is to set up a click on both reason and the mpc and play with the latency on reason until one of the clicks, kinda disappears.

I have some reason templates for Redrum, NNXT, RSN's and some others that are setup for the MPC. Thats one of the pimp elements of Reasons routings.

I use NNXT with my MPC.

I use the synth in reason, subtractor to layer over bass sampler to give me some more "punch" in the bass, I dont really like to use redrum, as I enjoy using the MPC as the main sequencer for all my tracks.
I also use the nntx sampler sometimes but not alot.

I'm new to Reason (Just got it today actually). I'm seeing some dope f*ckin' potential with the way you can edit patches and make your own sounds to compliment the Mp. Now I love the Mp to death and basically wanna stick with it as the sequencer and controller (I'm not too drawn to that Reason sequencer at the bottom of the rack on it's screen). My question is this: How do I set up multiple patches so each one is on a different midi channel controlled from the mp? I've been trying to figure this out but can't get more than 1 patch to play at at time. Is there a way to assign each of the tracks (patches) to the left of the Reason sequencer to independant midi channels so you can control multiple patches at the same time from the mp?
