"Yeeaaah!" -lil jon.

i just bought an mpc4000. Its in the mail, it will be here in 2 days. :D

I will be selling my mpc2000xl w/zip........soon. I will probably post it up on ebay a couple of days after i get the 4000; as i need some overlap to get things transfered.

If any of you are interested in the mpc2xl.......its in mint condition with original boxes and manuals. I will post the ebay auction link, later when i put it up.

anyways, peace out!

yeah. I was deciding whether i should sell mine first or after i get the 4000. I got approved with some good credit though, so i was able to keep the 2xl for a minute.

If you can i would try to get the credit approval on musicfriend. Credit cards can be very very evil; however, i wouldnt be able to manage the transfer from the 2xl to the 4000 without one. Plus i got 12 months 0 interest...all i gotta do is maintain a monthly payment of $68.

I did this with my triton studio last year. It worked out good. The only thing you have to remember is that making "minimum payments" wont finish paying off the equipment in 12 months. At the end of 12 months if you didnt finish paying, it goes in reverse and all the interest is then added.

Anyways, it works nicely though, because in the summer time i make more money, because i dont go to school, and i can get some overtime in. So I pretty much just use the 12months for timing issues. Ill make minimum payments, then when the summer hits, i can drop a paycheck on it. Ya know?

It builds your credit. and then you also get to play with some nice equipment! But you cant get too greedy, as you need to know what your minimum payments can be for the month. When i first got approved for the card, my limit was very low. I actually waited a few weeks....then when i was ready to order, i placed the order. Then i called and asked if they could extend my credit for this purchase. They doubled my credit. So dont be afraid to ask for an extention, as they might do it, especially if they know exactly what you are going to purchase. This goes for alot of credit cards.

But as a disclaimer: **** credit cards, and dont use them unless you absolutely have to! id rather be broke then have a ton of shit and have credit card debt! But for the mpc4000 its worth it.

peace good luck with your mpc4000! i cant wait, its gonna be like christmas all over again and then some!

peace.
