M-AUDIO FIREWIRE 410

Am trynna connect my turntable 2 my firewire audio interface and select the right input and output ports in logic sequencer but I can´t seem 2 be getting any signalz.

Anybody that uses Firewire and Logic Apple 4 this purpose? Help a brother out. Technicalz is my achilles heel. Am workin on it though.

i think you can't connect your turntable direct to your audio interface (kinda depends on the interface). to hook a turntable up, you need a preamp like a mixer. you put the "outs" on the turntable in the "ins" of the mixer, and the "outs" of the mixer in the "ins" of the interface. try this, and don't forget te put the mixer in PHONO...

Yeah. I already hooked it up 2 tha mixer.

It´s the mixer 2 tha Firewire 2 Logic hookup that´s problematic.

then i dont know, i dont work with logic; hope sombody else can help you out...

Oh. There´s only 2 line inputs which I was told is 4 the "left &right" monitors.

I´ve tried the other 8 "line outputs" but I don´t get no signalz. I can only do that if I use the 2 mic linez on the front but then U get a mono signal. Not cool.
