audiophile 2496 help!

i've got the L+R ins and outs working but the 2 digital ins and outs i can get to work? even when i plug in my minidisc i dont get a signal.

i just copped one of ebay, works a treat. do u have digi in/out on your mpc. cause mine works very well. just choose the correct settings in the router/patchbay tab in the m-audio controll panel.

thanks, but unfortunately i dont have the 8 outs. so i've got the mpc plugged into the analog ins. is there a analog to digital converter i can get or something?
