Whats up fam.....Here's the deal... I have the mo phatt 64 urban dance synth rack module midi up to the mpc right.... Sometimes when I have my sequences playing on the mp the mophatt will all of a sudden hang up and the screen will read "bad instruction, fatal error"!........ What is causing this,..is it the mophatt or does it has something to do with the midi cables or something?.........

Have you got a midi cable loop situation? If you have a cable from the Mo'Phatt's OUT to the MPC's IN, disconnect that. Only reconnect if you need to record some movements of the Mo'Phatt's dials & disconnect again once they are recorded.

It could also be some glitch in one of the MPC's sequence tracks. If it happens, take turns to solo each track. If you can isolate a track causing the problem then play that track solo at a really slow tempo & you should find where the glitch is.

Post this thread on a Mo'Phatt forum too. Is it expanded in any way? It could be a similar situation to all the "bad RAM" issues with MPCs.
