Mixing down with Sound Forge?

I heard you can mix down with Sound Forge? How can you do this?

well you could mix down into soundforge if you are using hardware all synced up and running through a mixer into the computer. just like mixing down to dat (which I have heard some people do).

Sound forge is a wav editor though, so you cant really take 16 tracks of audio and mix them down into a final mix from within Sound Forge. you can copy/paste mixed, but that offers like real no control of levels/panning/etc.

you might have heard people say you can master in soundforge, which you can, using plugins or even just the built in compressors, eqs, etc.
